Irie Latino started in January 2006 as a small Latin Party in Ocho Rios which grew into one of the hottest latin nights in Jamaica attracting people from all over the island. Irie Latino parties now take place in Ocho Rios, Kingston and Montego Bay. This blog is about the people, the dance, the music and the cultures that contribute to the vibrance of our parties.

Sasha!

Last week we were really happy to have a special guest, Sasha, at Evita's for our Irie Latino night. This ever-smiling, warm young lady is a Jamaican star and singer who has been belting out radio hits for some years now. She has also teamed up with other stars like Sean Paul for the hit single "I'm Still In Love" as well as other hits with Turbulance. What makes her of special interest to Irie Latinos is her hit "Dat Sexy Body" in 1998 which was remixed with Reggaeton superstar Ivy Queen from Puerto Rico.
